Realitas Generasi Emas Indonesia: Studi Pustaka mengenai Problematika Akhlak Murid Jenjang SMP dan Upaya Penanganannya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reality of Indonesia’s Golden Generation by examining moral problems among junior high school students and various efforts to address them. This research employed a literature review method by examining relevant scientific publications published between 2020-2026. The analysis focused on forms of moral problems, contributing factors, impacts, stakeholder roles, and approaches and strategies for addressing them. The findings indicate that moral problems among junior high school students include bullying, cyberbullying, moral degradation, indiscipline, disrespect toward teachers, misuse of social media, and weak self-control. The contributing factors consist of internal aspects, such as moral disengagement, low self-esteem, weak self-control, and inconsistent implementation of religious values, as well as external aspects, including parenting patterns, family communication, peer influence, social environments, technology, and limited parental supervision. These moral problems affect students’ personality development, emotional well-being, social relationships, learning motivation, academic achievement, and attainment of educational goals. Addressing these problems requires synergy among families, schools, teachers, counselors, and communities through role modeling, habituation, guidance and counseling, empathy development, collaborative learning, integration of moral values, digital supervision, and continuous evaluation. Therefore, strengthening students’ morality is a strategic foundation for developing Indonesia’s Golden Generation to become a generation that is morally upright, competent, responsible, and capable of contributing positively to society.
